Monday Sep 19, 2022
Monday Sep 19, 2022
Catechizing children is not merely a task given for official church catechists to carry out - pastors and elders - but also for parents. As Matthew Henry put it, “Public catechizing will turn to little account without family catechizing.” But how do you get squirmy kids to memorize a catechism? How should parents go about catechizing? Are there "tricks of the trade" that can help parents? In this episode, Pastors Zac and Brandon give eleven tips for at-home catechesis.

End Times Views Explained
Tuesday Sep 06, 2022
Tuesday Sep 06, 2022
When you begin speaking about the End Times, it becomes immediately apparent that there are several different views, that complicated terminology is often used, and that very smart people are on all sides of the debate. This can cause some to declare that they are "Pan-millenialitst," that everything will "pan out" in the end and they need not worry about understanding such things. Nevertheless, the end times are important, and the different views can impact how you understand other texts of sacred Scripture. In this episode, Pastors Zac and Brandon survey the various views of end times.
